We are pleased to announce the 600th publication of the LHCb collaboration. Miroslav, Vitalii and Johannes were also involved in this analysis.

The LHCb collaboration has submitted its 600th research paper. The first publications date back to 2010. Since then, 50 to 70 publications have been made per year, which corresponds to about one publication per week. All LHCb papers are publicly available at arxiv.org.

The current paper reports on the search for B-meson decays in four muons. These decays are very rare in the Standard Model of particle physics, but new particles beyond the Standard Model could significantly increase the decay rates. The Dortmund group was also directly involved in the analysis.
