Article on new results on Omega-b and Xi-b baryons published

© PRD

An article on new results on Omega-b and Xi-b baryons, involving Janina Nicolini and Vitalii Lisovskyi, was published in Physics Review D Journal. In the analysis, the accuracy of the Omega-b mass determination was improved by a factor of 2 compared to the previous measurement. In addition, the relative production probability of Omega-b to that of Xi-b was measured for the first time at the LHC.

More information on the new results can be found in the following article:
Measurement of the mass difference and relative production rate of the Ω-b and Ξ-b baryons.
