LHCb Early Career Award

© LHCb Collaboration

Every year the LHCb collaboration hands out an award to early-career scientists that made outstanding contributions outside data analyses. This year two members of our group Dr. Sophie Hollitt and Dr. Biljana Mitreska received the LHCb early-career scientist award for enabling the alignment of the LHCb detector during 2022, and for developing the real-time alignment strategy for Run 3. The awards were given by Chris Parkes, the spokesperson of the LHCb collaboration, at the LHCb week held at CERN 05-09 June 2023.
